Repurposing Unworn Jewels.
One of my favourite characteristics of gold is its ability to be melted down, hammered and rolled into new shapes. These earrings were commissioned through KIN Gallery. They are an example of how I am able to repurpose beautiful materials. The gemstones were not being worn in a pendant. I reused and added gold to create a pair of earrings that sway and come to life when worn.
Old and new earring components can be put together.
The finished earrings catch the light at every angle when they are worn.
The original pendant had gorgeous colour and movement. I was able to reuse these elements in the new earrings.
